We begin with Ahaz, learning of the many troubles and wars which plagued Judah throughout his sixteen-year reign, and of how he refused to trust in the Lord. Rather, he seemed to turn almost anywhere else for help, and foolishly made things worse. Then we proceed to learn of his son Hezekiah, and how he was a complete reversal of his father. In the end, we rejoice as we see God's great deliverance for those who trust in Him!
